Political campaigns are the oddest thing I've ever seen on Earth.

I can't decide if I feel more embarrassed reading articles about the latest accusation one candidate has made against another or watching reality TV. 

"Stop the farce!"  I want to cry.  "No more farce!  We all know that none of this is really real.  We don't need the theatre.  We've got netflix.  We're good.  Let real, honest-to-goodness reality get off it's wobbly knees and on its feet and tell us what it will really do when it is president."

"Oh, wait a minute.  What does this say?  Mitt Romney said he likes firing people.  Oh, this has got to be juicy.  Maybe I'll just give this nutty stuff one more click..."

Humans, you can't leave 'em, so I guess you might as well love 'em.
