Of Marshmallows and Starfish

4 good kids at Walmart tonight cost me 9 marshmallows.  Hot-diggity!

So, I wonder to myself on Sunday-eve, how many marshmallows would it take to get the same result in church tomorrow?

Anybody got any good formulas from Algebra 2?

I never was any good at those story problems.  That's beside the point though I suppose because most likely I don't have a bag big enough to hold that many marshmallows and fit through the chapel doors.

And I suppose if there were such a formula and gargantuan marshmallow sacks to hold the result of it, we'd all be enjoying a little world peace right now.  The lamb and the lion would be hanging out with absolutely not an inch of ire.  No ire!

You know the boy and the millions of star fish on the beach and how he threw back what he could because it'd make a difference to that one.  You were my boy tonight Marshmallow, and thanks for it.

me feeling no ire
