Clothes - It Begins

Here's are some of my favorites that were in my in-box today - thanks Sister! - as well as a thing or two I found next door to the links I was given.

Well darn, those didn't come out so clear.  But they're Tom's shoes and they are my kind o' casual, yet hip, you-don't-have-to-wear-socks kind of shoe.  This shoe is on the A-list.

Here is a sweater from Downeast.  I wish those flowers were sown onto a t-shirt of the same color because I'm not positive I would wear this sweater often enough...either that or too often.  I don't know if I could wear a sweater just right yet.  And I do find myself looking around at different tops thinking, "now if this were a t-shirt..."

Shabby Apple has a bajillion cute dresses and if I had a waist that I felt two-cents of confidence in I might go back to my kindergarten phase of insisting on wearing dresses all day every day.  I really like the flower print on this one and the tie at the waist.  Although the tie at the waist is probably what would be my body's downfall.

Oh man, cute, cute and cute.  This one is my favorite dress.  I like the print and the forty's-ishness of it - ah, the Greatest Generation.  But again, that definite waist there makes me a bit nervous.  I found myself opening up every yellow dress I saw.  Yellow is my Mom's favorite color, maybe I feel some kinship to yellow because of that.

I'll tell you what, for not being a clothes girl I sure liked looking at all the pretty things I saw today.  I appreciate the artistic-ness of it all.  The next step is appreciating the art on me.  I hope you don't mind coming along on my ride - I think this is what January's posts are going to look like.
