Today I am thankful for my neighbor down the street who watched my kids so I could run 6 gorgeous miles outside. Did I mention I have four kids, including a baby, and she has five kids, with an even younger baby?
I am also thankful for my Dad who put new tires on the front of my car. Left to my own devices I'd only realize I needed to replace tires if they exploded out from beneath me.
I am thankful that winter comes late and ends early in these parts. I saw a picture of my parents' house and the roof had snow on it. I'm just not ready for that kind of thing yet...ever...please keep it away...am I turning into a winter scrooge?
I am thankful for a husband who calls me and emails me when he is gone and makes me feel like I'm funny because he laughs at what I have to say. Everybody in this life needs somebody who thinks they're funny, no matter how un-funny they are. Amen. The End. It's true.
I'm thankful that I've got four kids that are going to teach me patience if it kills them...or me...it's kind of a race.
I'm thankful that Heavenly Father gave me this life that I have - it may not be pretty, but I sure like it.

Reading this made me grateful for those same things, as well as a few others. It is a good life, no matter how crazy and un-pretty it might get at times! I've been thinking I need to call you one of these days... it's been too long!
I love your comments Megan. And I'd love to catch up!
